„The idea behind a basic income seems to be a simple one: everyone gets – unconditionally – a specific amount of money and is therefore freed from the corset of wage working. This freedom of doing without worrying about money can be used in every manner: creative, productive and positive. Dreams, ambitions, and longings can be realized – so says the theory. But can we afford it? Who has to pay for it and what are the disadvantages? Is this vision created by an idealistic and privileged perspective? What about lazy people?“
